Dear everyone,
"Hello to you sunshine" is the title of a new song I've recently composed. Well,
let us hope that the sun doesn't decide to go visit a different galaxy this
summer...
I hope you are all doing well. I am doing well and, thank God, my health is well
too. Since I am leaving on vacation with my little family I wanted to say a
little "ku-ku" and quick goodbye. And of course give you a few updates.
1. New tour dates for 2010 are to be seen on the homepage. I particulary look
forward to the jazz concerts in the fall.
2. You've probably heard, I am going on tour this december as a part of the
project "Christmas moments". I feel this is going to be a lot of fun and yes, a
lot of hard work, for we have many concerts. Last week I was in studio with
Thomas Schwab (the founder of the project) and team, we recorded the beautiful
song "Traum von Bethlehem" and made a video clip to it. I hope you like it when
it comes out. More details you can find under www.christmas-moments.de.
Well, well, it is getting late as I write this letter to you. Denis sleeping
next to me is already in "Dream land". I wonder, what he is dreaming about. Me?
I certainly hope so :)
Poor man, he is married to a crazy artist and even his sons are not much
different. Alexander by now plays the drums to Pearl Jam music and the next
moment he is singing the Ave Maria loudly through the house. Hmm... Actually, it
is not a bad idea, may be Ave Maria with Pearl Jam drums?
Ok, enough now! I hope you all have a great summer and that you get some sun and

Dear everyone,
there have been some speculations about me being ill. I decided to say the truth:
yes, I was diagnosed in 2009 with pre-stage of breast cancer. I was successfully
treated and operated by very good doctors and my chances of staying healthy are
very high. I am thankful to God for the early discovery of the disease. I feel
very good and dedicate my time to good health, my family and my new projects. I
am leaving for a short vacation and look forward to the coming concerts in
Schwerin (17th of april), Hamburg (18th of april), etc. I plan further tours,
compose new songs and enjoy life. ....

Dear everyone,
some people think I probably have beautiful and relaxed weekends. Well, yes…but,
let us look back on today’s activities.
Saturday morning: got up (ok, a bit late), put order to the house, hang up the
wash, put some into the machine. I cleaned the kids’ room (for they expected a
friend to come over), vacuum cleaned… By that time it was 12:30 and I realized,
I had not had a breakfast. Denis made me a green smoothie and off I was again… I
cleaned my room, put order to my papers and spent three hours with Denis in
front of the computer, trying to finish the new CD cover.
Oh, by the way, that’s the new surprise I mentioned on my previous newsletter.
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, Tarara-tarara (trumpets playing)! I have a new CD for
you. And this time it has 12 songs, so can you believe it? Patricia actually
managed a real album? Say goodbye to the era of maxi (I hope). Technological
progress J !
Below in this email you will find a message from my team with all details
regarding the new album and its availability.
So you see, I have not been bumming around in the past weeks. And now I have to
rush off again, for it is late and I still have to clean the kitchen, give the
kids a bath and say our good night prayers. Ok, I admit, I have the best husband
in the world – he cooks, does the shopping, plays football with the boys and by
the way types this letter for you, for I can’t use a computer. Thank God I can
sing a bit!

Dear everyone,
As I sit in front of my window and write to you (finally!), it is lovely to
watch how snow flakes fall on our neighbours chimney top, or on the empty street
outside. We have had a lot of snow this winter. For sure it will be an
unforgettable one for my children. Sleigh rides down the hills, snow men that
don’t melt, and enough snow to leave foot prints anew every day.
A lot has happened since my last newsletter. Time just flies…
First of all, I want to wish you all a blessed and happy New Year. Health, love,
peace and all the good things for you all. May God bring you all this and much
more.
Perhaps some of you, who live not too far from Düsseldorf had the occasion to
see the musical “Vom Geist der Weihnacht”. It was a wonderful and beautiful
experience for me. Something very new, yet familiar in the strange way. I had
great fun and I really enjoyed the acting part. Although keeping text is not my
strength, I was amazed how one can keep the text in mind, if one wants to, or
has to! The atmosphere backstage was exceptionally positive. I have seldom
experienced such brotherhood and support of each other between artists. And
there was constant laughter and joy. The public was warm and welcomed us all
with open arms. Around 30.000 visitors came to see the musical. I’d do it
anytime again. Oh! And I don’t know if you heard, my sons Ignatius and Alexander
were often backstage with the acting children and for the last show Ignatius
went on stage, sang and acted with us all. I was moved to tears, of course, I
was so proud of my son this evening, that I almost forgot my text.
And now a few infos.
Tour. As you’ve seen online there are new tour dates. There are a few more
possibly coming, but this is basically it for the first half of this year.
Yes, we are travelling to different countries in Europe. I really look forward
to this. My team finally has got the necessary contacts, logistics, etc. to make
this dream possible. For I know we have (The Kelly Family) many loyal fans in
the entire Europe. This time you can stay home! You don’t have to pack your
suitcase! Me and my team will be flying to you!
Surprise. I am working on a surprise for you, can’t yet say what it is. I hope
it works.
Plan 2010, second half. The plans for the second part of this year are not yet
fixed. I have different options and we will keep you informed.
By the way, I heard a rehearsal of the new program of Jimmy and Meike – Just
great! I love it. I am jealous of Jimmy, he always manages to top me. Besides,
Meike has a beautiful voice, and Denis cannot keep a tune :)
Definitely, a must-see!!!
By the way, almost forgot. There is a new DVD of the musical performance in
Düsseldorf, now on sale through our online shop. For those, who didn’t see it
live. My boys watched the DVD and Alexander made me aware that on a certain
passage the word “bräuchten” had a terrible english accent. Well, what do you
know, very soon they will be telling me which songs to sing and how to sing
them. YES, LADYS AND GENTLEMEN, THE NEW GENERATION IS MARCHING ON, AND THAT’S
GOOD JUST LIKE THAT.

Dear everyone,
The summer is still shining, august is here! I hope you all had a nice vacation,
lots of sun and rest.....
Wow, how time flies… I love to look through our living room’s window, for there
is a naturally growing garden / forest. Somehow, I don’t like well kept lawns.
....
Well, it is certainly more and more obvious to me, that I grew up differently to
most people. Born in a catholic but very alternative hippie family, it is
difficult at times to live in a normal house.....
Back to reality. My first acoustic “Essential” is behind us. It has been a
beautiful and very successful tour. We laughed and cried, sang and dance, and, o
yes, talked a lot on stage. ....
I want to thank you all for the great support and encouragement.....
Because of so many positive feedbacks and much demand we have decided to prolong
this tour. There are a few additional concert dates this fall:....

And that’s it for this year
Beyond this I have a surprise for December. A new project I am currently working
on!
OK, I will say this much – it is something really different. By contract I am
not allowed to give you more information right now. Around the 18th of September
I will present you the new project.
It is going to be great.
This is a reason why I haven’t sent you a newsletter before, for only now things
became concrete.
I plan further concerts starting end of January next year. I love to sing for
you all!

Hello everyone,
well, well it’s been a long time
But I have a surprise for you! As I write to you this newsletter all around me
there are clouds of dust, papers, boxes, instruments, costumes … what a mess.
I’m cleaning my working room, a mix of office and studio -uff- That’s it!!! No
more mess! (Denis bought me two new Ikea-Closets) I love order in my home, but
lately I’ve been too busy preparing the “Essential” program, choosing songs,
trying them out, learning them, listening to what key sounds best etc.
All besides being a busy mom! Well, so what do I have for news, let’s see
First there’s the tour dates. You can click on my homepage for the new
tour dates, which are already public (Halle, Berlin, Melle, Oldenburg, Lübeck,
Wismar, Köln, Erfurt, Krefeld, Schweinfurt, Worms, Rastatt, München,
Hildesheim).
We are working on the following cities:

Attention: at the moment these cities are not fixed 100%, only option. ....
We don’t plan more dates for acoustic tour
till august. This will be the “Essential” Tour for now. ....
We tried to spread our concerts through
the country, as far as it was possible. As you might have heard the concerts in
Panningen were great fun.I was quite sick, but everything went well. The
“Essential” Tour coming up will be of the same nature/concept. My guitarist of
course will be accompanying me the entire tour. The “Essential” Tour is a kind
of musical biography/history journey, as we travel through the different
countries/languages and eras of my childhood/youth. I sing the songs of that
particular time (in 6 different languages) and tell little stories or memories
that I recall between the songs It could take the entire night, bring your
sleeping sacks!!! :)
So, what’s the surprise?
I recorded a new Maxi CD for you!!!!!!!!
I was convinced by Denis to go into studio
and record 5 songs of the “Essential” Tour!And right now the master tape is
travelling across Germany inside a yellow Post-Office-Truck, its destiny: the
printing factory. I hope that we will have it in time for Halle, our first
concert. So, so that’s pretty much it. I’ll continue cleaning up my mess and I’m
really looking forward to the tour. It was great fun in Panningen and I was
happy to hear people’s positive response. One young lady said “it was worth my
10 hours of driving, I will come back anytime again” Well, I certainly hope you
won’t have to drive so far this time! Times have gotten rough with this
recession, but I keep on singing, for music is as “Essential” to me as bread and
water, a surplus of the Goodness of God. I can’t imagine life without the
Perfume of flowers, laughter of children, the nightingale song, love, faith,
hope, music and all the things that make our lives special and beautiful. Oh by
the way, at least one positive aspect of the recession are the sinking fuel
prices. Definitely good for Kelly Fans! Driving 10 hours or more..

Hey ladies and ladies,
I am delighted that the concert in Panning is sold out. Marvellous, great, thank
you so much!
However, there have been further requests, not everybody was able to get a
ticket. So we decided short hand to make a second concert at the same location
on the next day, Sunday, the 15th of february, at 15 o’clock.
For those who already have a ticket for saturday concert and are interested in
staying for the sunday concert, we have a special price, reduced from 19 till 16
Euros. Plus Henny made a special deal on sleeping possibilities - only 20 Euros

Dear everyone
I hope you are well and rested. Today is definitely the last day for this year.
Tomorrow is already 2009.
I do have some news before the year’s end to share with you. I will make this
newsletter short and down to facts, for we still have to prepare for the party.
Denis will be cooking irish stew for us all! Is this possible? A Russian cooking
the irish national food? He makes a better stew than me!
So, what is new?
My first concert in 2009 will be on the 14th of February in Panningen,
Netherlands. This will be a special and different concert. Acoustic: me
accompanied by a great guitarist you don’t know yet (a bit like Jimmy’s recent
tour). Peter and the band will be joining me later, most likely in the spring.
It looks like I will be trying something absolutely new for me. It is a
challenge and scary at the same time (but something I’ve been wanting to do for
a long time).
I hope to surprise you. The programm differs from the Bar Celona tour, although
I will include some of the known songs. More I would not want to reveal But I am
as curious as you might be to see the effect it has on me and you.
I like the name “Essential” for its meaning. This is why these concerts will be
called:
“Essential”. Acoustic concerts 2009.
I chose Panningen for the premiere, for I know Henny (concert organizer) does a
great Job in making me feel relaxed and takes great consideration of all of your
needs. She chose a beautiful café where only about 100 people will fit. So be
sure to get you tickets in time

Ku-ku! It is me again, finally.
Dear everyone.
Alexander, my father-in-law, just now helped me put my tour suitcase up in the
attic. Wow, Patrcia, he said, you have a complete second house full upstairs.
His face turned pale after seeing how many things we have behind that old attic
door. Baby Cribs, toys, old shoes, furniture, instruments, and even a box full
of beautiful gifts and letters from supporters.
I keep saying “one day I’m gonna empty this place”, but somehow I never find the
time for this. Well, this year was not the year to clean up the past, but
instead an amazing marvellous generous and very surprising year of the new and
present. It has been one of the most fun years of my life. There is something
exciting and energizing about being at the core of new creativity. What a gift.
It has been great making music, touring, studio recording with the band. I am
very thankful to them.
And now I want to thank you. Yes, you, not the guy or girl to your right or left,
YOU. For your support and loyalty, for making it possible that we, artists, are
able to do what we love to do – to touch your hearts. And to invite you to
immerse and explore the world of Art with us. I consider myself privileged to
have your support and encouragement and want to thank God for this.
What are the news now.
First, not so good – the Roncally show in 2009 is not happening, as announced on
the Kelly Family homepage: www.kellyfamily.de. I am personally sad about this. I
always loved the Roncally project.
Moreover, there are no other Kelly Family concerts planned for the moment.
And now something to cheer up. There is a TV Show / Reportage on me, appr. 13
minutes, filmed partly on the Bar Celona Tour. It will be broadcasted via
several TV stations:
- Satellit: Bibel TV, 2.12 at 17:30 and reinmaintv, 29.11, 16:00.
- Kabel: FAB (Fernsehen aus Berlin) – on the 29.11 at 17:05 with repeats, bw

I will appreciate it very much.
I have read all the letters given to me on the tour. I am trying to fight my way
through the emails. It is a big-big mountain. I want to thank you for so many
beautiful letters and emails.
I must admit I’ve been deeply touched by some of them . I thank you for sharing
your life stories with me. Please understand, I cannot possibly answer everyone,
although I would like to. I pray for you all.
Concerning solo concerts of mine. I don’t have any news for you yet. We are now
planning next year. Concrete information will come I hope in January. I do plan
to go on tour in 2009.
Next few months I will rest, take care of my family, prepare and compose new
songs. And take time for health, prayer and silence.
There is one thing I really look forward to this year. Christmas at home! It has
been years since we haven’t toured during Christmas. I planned to send out
beautiful Christmas cards – in time, decorate the house with kids and
participate in the local parish church activities regarding Christ Birth. With
my entire family, great, what a joy.
Well, I will stay in contact with you, maybe once a month, maybe not. Oh, by the
way, did some of you see the negative press on Paddy (Brother John Paul Mary)?
Lies and lies. My brother is doing very well, he calls me regularly.

concert at the Blue Note Jazz Club
Dear everyone,
Patricia is on tour, so here is as exception a letter from her team.
We have a big news – there is another normal “full” concert of Patricia, in
Poznan, Poland, in the Blue Note Jazz Club: www.bluenote.poznan.pl,
The concert is on the 5th of October, Sunday, at 19:00 (at least 1,5 hours long).
Tickets can be reserved and bought at in the Club directly (open Monday - Friday
12.00 - 20.00).
Sorry for the short notice, we know, that 3,5 weeks advance is a rough if you
have to plan a trip. Unfortunately, it was not possible to fix the date earlier,
and to put concert later is not possible because of private Patricia’s plans (that’s
why tour ends middle of October). I hope you can come to the concert.

Maxi CD „a new room“ and more
Dear everyone,
today was the first day since weeks, that I hang around the house, while it was
raining outside, with jogging pans and an old sweater of Denis.
I even watched a video with our boys, called “An American in Paris” with Gene
Kelly, a magnificent (irish!) dancer.
Since we have no TV antenna (a conscious decision of ours), to watch a DVD is
something special. I think it is the first video I have watched in weeks.
I had to think of my grandpa (on my father side), who at early age became a
champion of contests on clack-and-toe (or tap-dancing) in US many years ago.
I do have not so pleasant news. I have caught a cold, probably through a draft,
and I am forced to drink all day a horrible tea for the bladder. Last week after
every concert I gave about 2 hours of autographs and photos, which I understand
is important and nice for many of you. And I do it GLADLY, for it gives me a
personal and direct feeling of every one of you. However, it is a problem in
general, for my physical health is not the strongest.
I am doing the concerts, here is no problem. The big question is if it is not
too much for me after every concert 2 hours of signing and photos for 6 weeks
long.
My proposal is: I can do autographs, that goes pretty fast. And photos for those
who haven’t got one recently. Let us see how it works.
Now a few points.
The Maxi-CD “A new room” is available as of now in my online-Shop. Of course, on
all concerts as well.
The homepage in german language will be launched in next days.
We are working on the MySpace, we will keep you updated.
You might have seen that we have some new photographs in the Gallery under “Solo
project”, featuring the first Celona concert in Essen.
The start hour of Celona concerts has been shifting back and forth, so now the
beginning of the show is 20:30 - Peter and band instrumental music, and I begin
to sing at 21:00 o’clock.
So I think it is enough for today. Oh, by the way, don’t expect from me an
newsletter every week. It is just at the moment there is so much going on and we
want to keep you updated and informed. Things should quite down with time.
I understand, some of you cannot come to my concerts, because of job, family,
distance, timing (during the week), sickness, etc. I appreciate your support
from where you are. You are in my thoughts. Thank you.

Saturday night, and the feeling is right.
Well nothing of that, I am a nervous wrack, counting the days till my first
Celona concert.
The countdown is on… 1-2-3-4 more days! Like my kids say, 4 times “haja” (sleeping).
I have done everything, my wash, the entire house is in order. Polished sunday
shoes. I jogged today. I even had time with my boys to search and find nine
spider webs with big ugly tiger spiders.
Everything but rehearsing my songs. If Peter reads this, he’s gonna kill me. He
is my musical conscious.
Anyway, I love doing concerts but I hate rehearsing. Specially learning lyrics.
Just like students push their preparation for exam till the last minute…
Down to business.
First thing, to make things clear, I have to disappoint Henny (designer of my
homepage) and all of you. I haven’t done my biography. It’s gonna have to wait
till… Ahhh… We will see.
Actually I have started writing something, it turned out to be 8 pages long, and
I have only got through my first 5 years in Spain. It was great fun, and lots of
memories came up. But I think I will take a shorter approach. You know, woman
love to talk a lot…
There is a big change.
IMPORTANT: CONCERTS IN BAR CELONA ARE NOT AT 20:00 O’CLOCK AS ANNOUNCED, BUT AT
21:00 O’CLOCK.
We are sorry for this change. Celona team asked us for this change so we can
begin the concert when meal hours are over and people enjoy their drinks and are
more open for the concert. I know it could be a heavy change for some of your,
concerning arrival or departure.
And remember, that Peter and Band will play 35 Minutes before I come on stage.
By the way, following locations in Celona are suited for wheel chair visitors (first
of all concerning WC): Essen, Paderborn, Gütersloh, Siegen, Wolfsburg.
Concerning release dates of CD.
The Maxi-CD “A new room” is available on cash desk in Bar Celona locations (only
in locations where I play) on the 2d of September and till the middle of october.
The Maxi-CD can be ordered in my online-shop as of 9th of September.

both technical and creative. We are working on changes, and many of them are

By the way, don’t feel obliged to write emails to me in English. I can perfectly
read German. Whatever is easiest for you.
Some of you asked why there is no concert in other Celona locations, like
Frankfurt, or even concerts in other regions of Germany. In our concert
selection we are bound to options offered by the contract partner, who organizes
concerts. It is not like I can say I want to come to Frankfurt or München, and
the promoter finds me appropriate location there. Usually, we respond to offers
made by promoters, and they have their favourite cities. Please understand.
I would like to ask you for a favour. If you see any press on my Celona tour and
Altenburg please send me a copy or give it during the concert. I can soon give
you the address for this purpose, we are working on it. I am trying to collect a
press file for the homepage and for long winter evenings when I am old Thanks

By the way girls, which dress should I put on? Just joking… Women drive
themselves (and their partners, Denis just says), when it comes to choosing the
outfit.

Dear everyone,
Sunday morning! I love weekends with Denis and our boys, breakfast, and then we
go to mass. I begin this letter to you on our big old-fashioned country table in
the kitchen.
Somehow, we are always in the kitchen, everything happens here. Family
gatherings, birthdays, baptism and communion celebrations, arguments, laughters,
secrets are told, and even gossips … If only tables could speak…
Now down to business.
There are a few points I would like to inform you all about. Since we are trying
step by step to meet your requirements (not easy!)…
The photo gallery is online since day before yesterday, as some of you have
already noticed. Click on “Nowadays” and you can see some new photos of me from
a church tour. Hope you like them. There is a few new photographs from my last
photo session this June on the category “Solo project”. I anticipate already

I am working on the biography. I never did it in my entire life. What a horror,
wish me good luck.
Concerning Bar Celona tour.
Some of you were disappointed that the concert dates were all during the week. I
can understand, that many of you have to work. I am terribly sorry. Since Bar
Celona locations are already full on the weekends, it was decided to take dates
in the middle of the week to be able to receive the extra public coming for the
concert. Please understand.
I am very thankful to the team of Bar Celona and Eventworks for this tour, I am
really looking forward.
As mentioned in the previous newsletter, this is a not a normal concert. Nearly
half of a time there will be instrumental music by Peter and band. Here is a
programm:
35 Min. - Jazz Standards (instrumental music)
45 Min. - Patricia Kelly und Band
In the end Autographs and Photos
I will be singing a few new standard jazz songs.
Some of you asked what time the concerts will be: 20 o’clock always.
Concerts take place always in the Bar Celona location (address you can find on
www.cafe-bar-celona.de) with exception of Essen and Nürnberg (Finca). Next days
we will put full addresses on homepage to avoid misunderstandings.
A little surprise! I have my first poster! You can buy it already nowin my
online shop. It is A1 format (84 cm x 59,4 cm). The price is 5 Euros. It will be
sent out folded, so please understand. I hope you like it!

The Maxi-CD is finished! These are the songs:
- Diamond ring (4:03 min)
- New room (5:12 min)
- Little body (6:40 min)
- Put on the light (4:15 min)
The name of the CD is “A new room”, it has over 20 min. of music. The price is
10 Euro.
For me it was important to have high musical and recording quality.
There is a little booklet of 8 pages with lyrics of the songs and few
photographs.
The Maxi-CD will be available in the Bar Celona locations as of beginning of
September till the middle of October, where you can buy it any day in the cash
desk area. If you want to buy it, just come to Bar Celona. Important: IT IS ONLY
AVAILABLE AT 11 CELONA LOCATIONS WHERE I WILL BE SINGING: Essen (Finca),
Wuppertal, Paderborn, Gütersloh, Nürnberg (Finca), Hagen, Siegen, Oldenburg,
Wilhelmshaven, Bremen, Wolfsburg.
One week after sales start in Bar Celona the Maxi-CD will be also available
through my online shop.
Concrete launching date I will communicate next Sunday.
“A new room” will not be available in the normal CD stores.

Maxi CD and Bar Celona-Tour
Dear everyone,
Wow! Finally I can give you some good news.
After weeks of hard works of my entire team and myself, we can announce to you
two major points.
1.
The Maxi-CD (four different
songs which you know from my solo concerts) is finally finished. We have just
given the cover to print and CD to press. It will be ready for sale (if
everything stays in time) beginning of September.
2.
The September-Oktober Bar
Celona Tour is finally fixed. For different reasons if was not possible to fix
the dates before as we intended.
This tour will have a different musical program. It is not exactly the normal
concert as you know it. It will be a mixture of my own compositions and a few
jazz standard songs (Holy Macros! I will have a lot of practising the next few
weeks). I will sing about 45 minutes, the rest of the time Peter and band will
play beautiful music for you. By the way, THE ENTRANCE IS FOR FREE (thanks to
Bar Celona). Here are the dates and cities:

The concert in Altenberg as planned till now will be the only “full” concert of
mine for this year. Don’t miss it.

Three months ago I never would have dreamed about a tour and CD this year. It
was not in my plans. Providence made it happen.
I did neglect the homepage… I’ve got a lot of critical emails. But I thought it
would be more important to work first
on the music. Next weeks we will focus on improving the homepage – parallel to
my rehearsals for the tour.
Thank you for all your emails. I receive every day so many beautiful,
informative, critical and encouraging emails. I really enjoy reading them before
going to bed. I AM SO SORRY, I CANNOT ANSWER YOU ALL, please understand. Many
good ideas I have received from you, we will try to apply some of them with
time, THANK YOU!
By the way, we have a poster coming soon (format A1).
We are trying to figure out how we can answer all the demands for a signed
autograph card of mine. I am sure we will find a way.
It is not easy to be a mother and a singer at the same time. I might not be the
quickest in my work, but - I am very persistent.
